Debbie Bryant holds a holds a faculty appointment as instructor in the College of Nursing and has extensive experience in community-based programs designed to reach unique populations. In her role, she oversees Outreach Services which includes the Mobile Health Unit and Patient Navigation Services. She also is charged with administrative oversight of the Cancer Prevention and Control research staff, and administrative staff, including grants-development within these areas.

Bryant serves in regional and national organizations to promote the vision and mission of Hollings. She is a board member for the South Carolina Cancer Alliance, chair of the Charleston Chapter of the Alliance for Digital Equality, member of the Tri-County and National Black Nurses Association, and a steering committee member for the Closing the Gap in Healthcare scholarship endowment.
