Terri Matson plans, directs and executes the administrative duties of the Hollings Clinical Trials Office (CTO). This includes supervising the CTO in clinical, regulatory and financial aspects; participating in the cancer center’s planning and evaluation efforts; overseeing CTO-supported services (e.g. utilization, space, services); and working with program leaders and members to identify opportunities for clinical research study development and service enhancement. Matson also provides oversight to the Hollings Cancer Center Clinical Trials Network, a program that engages other cancer centers to promote clinical trial participation.

Matson came to Hollings from a Clinical Research Organization where she served as a project manager. Prior to that Matson managed projects in an NIH-funded basic laboratory in MUSC’s Department of Surgery. She holds a BS in Biology.
