Dr. Thomas, an Associate Professor of Medicine, is a medical oncologist and renowned liver cancer researcher. She holds the Grace E. DeWolff Endowed Chair as part of the Center of Economic Excellence in Gastrointestinal Malignancies at MUSC. 

Dr. Thomas’ role at Hollings includes increasing patient participation in clinical trials; optimizing Hollings’ clinical research capabilities; mentoring junior faculty in clinical research; and developing transdisciplinary collaborations across all of the scientific efforts at Hollings.
