Harrison, MPA Associate Director of Administration Email: harriani@musc.edu Phone: 843-792-6142 Office Location: Hollings 124G | From Wake Forest University to the University of California, San Francisco, to Washington University in St. Louis, Anita Harrison, MPA has worked coast to coast with cancer centers that have achieved the prestigious National Cancer Institute (NCI) designation. In 2005, Hollings Cancer Center recruited her from the Eastern Virginia Medical School to become Associate Director for Administration to continue to build the foundations for the acclaimed designation at MUSC. In her role, she works closely with Dr. Andrew S. Kraft, Director, and the other HCC senior leadership to build the infrastructure needed to be eligible for NCI designation. In addition she oversees initiatives to ensure that the HCC is leading a statewide effort in decreasing the mortality and morbidity associated with cancer through continually augmenting community outreach, working with the MUSC hospital and clinical administration to identify areas to improve patient care services and strengthening research and professional education.

| Karen Fulghum has served as the Business Manager of the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center since 2002. She began her career at MUSC in 1988 and has held a variety of positions within the College of Medicine. Karen directs the business and fiscal management of the HCC and is responsible budgets, human resources, procurement, physical assets management, grants management and related auxiliary services. She is an MUSC Mediator and also continues to serve on several University committees campus wide. | | Brenda C. Nickerson, MSN, RN Administrator, Prevention and Control Research and Outreach Email: nickersb@musc.edu Phone: 843-792-3922 Office Location: Hollings 124E | A native South Carolinian, Brenda has worked throughout the state in public health with a focus on primary prevention and early detection and treatment of chronic diseases, especially among the state’s African American population that experiences the greatest health disparities. While employed with the state health department, she managed the State-Aid Cancer Program and directed the development of the state’s breast and cervical cancer screening program, the “Best Chance Network. She played a pivotal role in obtaining state legislation that mandates the reporting of all new cancer cases to the state central cancer registry. She came to HCC in 2000 and serves as administrator for HCC Cancer Prevention and Control Program and Cancer Disparities Program and oversees HCC community outreach and cancer survivor programs. | | Rachael Durham Smith Director of Development Email: smithrmd@musc.edu Phone: 843-792-9335 Office Location: Hollings 124J
| Ms. Smith has served as Director of Development at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center since February 2003. Smith has worked previously as Director of Development for the MUSC College of Pharmacy, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations for The Citadel-The Military College of South Carolina, and Director of Development for Happy Days and Special Times. Smith is the Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and was named by the Charleston Regional Business Journal as one of their "40 Under 40" Award Recipients.
Smith has served on the boards and in membership and volunteer capacity for the National Association of Cancer Center Development Officers, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Public Relations Society of America, Charleston Association of Grant Professionals and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
Smith received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Juilliard School, in New York, New York, and is a native of Charleston, South Carolina.

| Colleen attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate degree and graduated in 1986. During her third year at UVA, she had a clinical with the oncology population and also took a special course on oncology nursing. It became her passion in nursing and remains a passion to this day. While her role has become solely administrative and involves many other awesome services and team members, she continues to maintain her oncology nursing certification and attends the local and national Oncology Nursing Society meetings. She completed a Masters in Nursing in 1993 from Emory University in Atlanta and started on her career in nursing management and administration. Colleen has worked at hospitals in Wash. DC, Newport Beach, CA, Atlanta, GA, Philedelphia, PA, Greenville, NC, and Charleston, SC. She has had several jobs at MUSC including staff nurse, Bone Marrow Transplant Coordinator, Nurse and Program Manager and Director. | | Rhonda Breeland, RN, MSN Nurse Manager, Hollings Cancer Center Email: breeland@musc.edu Phone: 843-792-3603 Office Location: Hollings 304 | Rhonda Breeland received her B.S.N. and M.S.N. from the University of Alabama in Birmingham (UAB). Her experiences include ICU, Assistant Director of Nursing, Associate Professor of Nursing, Nurse Educator, Director of Occupational Medicine, Director of Business Development and Executive Director for the hospital's Foundation. Rhonda has implemented and managed multi-specialty outpatient clinics in an 11-county service area.
She lives on James Island with her husband and enjoys the water, hiking and playing canasta with friends.

She has over twenty years of experience in healthcare management and began her career at MUSC in 1997. Pam’s responsibilities include planning and directing administrative and business management activities of the Hollings Cancer Center State Outreach Program.
| | Vicky Agnew Email: agnew@musc.edu Phone: 843-792-0376 Office Location: Hollings 124A | Vicky Agnew joined MUSC Hollings Cancer Center as Director of Strategic Communications in August 2007. She brings 16 years of public relations and print journalism experience to her role of guiding HCC's internal and external communications. Prior to joining HCC, Vicky was Director of Media Relations at Cleveland Clinic Florida; Sr. Media and Public Relations Manager at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio; Sr. Account Manager at Boardroom Communications in South Florida; and a crime/breaking news reporter at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel and newspapers in South Carolina. Vicky holds a B.A. in English from Clemson University and enjoys incorporating new media tactics into her media and public relations strategies. She serves on MUSC's Employee Rewards and Recognition Committee and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the International Association of Business Communicators. |
