Cancer Program Committee
Purpose:
MUSC is accredited as a Teaching Hospital Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The goal of the Commission is to decrease the morbidity and mortality caused by cancer through prevention, monitoring and reporting of care, standard setting and education. The Cancer Program Committee is responsible for planning and evaluation so that the Commission on Cancer Standards are maintained.
