Advanced Education:
1980, PhD, The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD
Postdoctoral Training:
1980 - 1981: Fellowship, The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD
Research Interest:
1. Molecular biology of gene regulation: To define the functional role
of the ETS gene family of transcription factors during cellular
proliferation, differentiation and transformation. Areas include in
vitro modulation of gene expression and generation of mice harboring
specific targeted and transgenic alleles followed by analysis of in vivo
phenotypes.
2. Molecular genetics of cancer: To identify and characterize molecular
markers for carcinogenic transformation, metastasis, and progression.
