The 2009 Spring Symposium is hosted by the Cancer Prevention and Control Program and co-sponsored by the South Carolina Alliance for Cancer Chemoprevention. The theme is Cancer Disparities with sessions on Cancer Disparities: Surveying the Landscape, Chemoprevention, and Epidemiology of Colorectal Cancer: Why is the Burden Higher in African Americans? Call for Abstracts Participants (faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students) are encouraged to submit scientific abstracts related to Cancer Disparities, Cancer Chemoprevention, and Cancer Epidemiology, Prevention and Control. Selected abstracts will be presented in poster format and collated in a booklet to be distributed at the conference. Priority will be given to disparities related research.
