These community-based education and awareness forums bring together leaders from the minority communities in South Carolina to discuss new and relevant research findings as well as issues, challenges, and solutions related to cancer disparities. The events have included testimonials from survivors, nutrition information, and presentations on African American involvement in clinical trials.
