The Hollings Cancer Center’s Gynecological Cancer program specializes in successfully treating and managing the full range of gynecological cancers. With South Carolina ranked ninth in the nation in cervical cancer deaths, our advanced diagnostics and treatments are a source of hope to thousands of women each year. Gynecological Cancer Services and Technology At the Hollings Cancer Center, our Gynecological Cancer program encompasses all aspects of diagnosis, surgery, treatment and management of cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer and vulvar cancer. Gynecological Cancer Multidisciplinary Team Members HCC’s Gynecological Cancer team encompasses all of the specialists related to a patient’s individual cancer needs. Team members gather in one place to make the patient’s care more efficient and effective. Gynecological Cancer and Treatment Options Our Cancer Center Health Library explains terminology, treatment options, and provides information about risk factors for gynecological cancer. Clinical Trials Gynecological cancer patients have access to clinical trials of promising new therapies. The goal of these research efforts is to bring effective new treatments to patients as quickly as possible. Among them are new protocols developed the Gynecological Oncology Group of the National Cancer Institute.
