Thoracic Cancer Care

With South Carolina having the nation’s highest rate of esophageal cancer as well as a high rate of lung cancer, the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) is the place to go for hope.  Our surgeons are among the few in the state who devote their practice entirely to general thoracic surgery.  We also handle more thoracic cancer cases than most institutions in the state, resulting in some of the nation’s best outcomes.

Comprehensive Cancer Treatment
HCC’s Thoracic Cancer program specializes in all aspects of diagnosis, surgery, treatment and management of:

·   Lung cancer
·   Esophageal cancer
·   Mesothelioma
·   Tumors of the mediastinum
·   Tracheal cancer
