Recognizing that most treatment standards of today were developed as a result of previous clinical trials, it is evident that clinical trials play a critical role in the advancement of new treatments. Supporting more than 150 clinicians and researchers at Hollings Cancer Center in their quest to advance cancer care and prevention is the staff of the Hollings Cancer Center Clinical Trials Office (CTO).
Providing oversight of approximately 300 clinical trials and more than 1,000 trial participants, the CTO promotes excellence in cancer research for human subjects and provides support to all investigators in the Cancer Center for clinical research activities. |
