The intent of the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) membership program is to encourage integrated research to make new discoveries in cancer causation, prevention and treatment. The HCC holds National Cancer Institute designation and seeks MUSC faculty members who have an interest in cancer or are involved in cancer-related research.
Some advantages of HCC Membership:
- HCC provides a focus for interactions and collaboration among investigators with common interests and serves as a conduit for the dissemination of basic and clinical information related to cancer research and treatment.
- HCC members are given priority access to HCC Shared Resources and are eligible to apply for pilot project opportunities that become available to fund promising new projects.
- The guidelines for applying for membership in the HCC, along with the membership application can be downloaded here for your convenience.
