Cancer Registry
MUSC has operated a Cancer Registry since 1924 and is approved by the American College of Surgeons Joint Commission on Cancer. The Cancer Registry is a critical source of clinical data about every patient that has been diagnosed with and/or treated for cancer at MUSC.
This data can be requested for reporting and/or research purposes. Any data requiring patient identifying information must have Institutional Review Board approval and all privacy policies pertaining to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) must be followed. >> View MUSC Cancer Case Distribution Map for 2010
