About the Sphingolipids PPG

Overview Goal:

The goal of this program project is to determine novel lipid signaling mechanisms, which regulate cancer cell proliferation, resistance to apoptosis, and metastasis in solid tumors, and to utilize mechanistic information gained from these studies for the development of novel therapeutic strategies to treat patients with solid tumors, such as prostate, urinary (bladder/kidney) and liver cancers.
